I'm still surprised the Eagles did not have Alshon J in at Safety on that final Hail Mary.

I think a lot of people are wondering the same thing!

That Hail Mary was closer than it should've been. I don't even want to think of how we would've reacted had that game not ended there.

I may have kicked my kid, punched my wife then broke the TV. Thankfully, it didn't happen...

Can you imagine if they would have called a pass interference there?

That was one thing I wasn't worried about - even though there was illegal contact on Hogan (as there is illegal contact/interference on all hail mary passes), for a ref to throw a flag in that situation someone would've had to jump kick Gronkowski in the facemask while he was wide open.

But yes, if that happened the refs may have not gotten out of the building.

Was anyone else not aware that the game was over except me and Al Michaels?

I just assumed that there was time to run another play, and the initial reaction from the DBs didn't seem Super Bowl winnish to me.

Then after a few seconds, my brother in law says, there's no time left there's no time left!!

Then the happiest bedlam ever.

With 9 seconds left and throwing from the 50, yes. Hell, it took most of the time just for the play to develop. That was going to be the last play barring a freak incident.

I don't think they had the game clock displayed on the screen and even those calling the game took a few moments to realize the clock ran out on that play, nine seconds did seem like enough for two plays, but Graham nearly got Brady and he had to escape before launching the pass, so you can thank BG for burning up those last few seconds.

and immediately after launching that pass --- just to rub some salt into what was about to be a wound in a few seconds --- Fletcher Cox leveled Brady.

Fucking loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
