I like the fact that he is using the bye week to work on technique, he could have taken a vacation, but wants to prove he can 'hang' with the other guys on the line. Like the rest of the team, now that he is playing, he seems to get better each week. He was pretty damn good last week against Denver. And who said he can't run block? Did u see Ajayi's TD run, he crushed it on that play.

I don't know. I'm not convinced yet. Let's see how he does vs the 'Pukes.

L OT will be a huge decision for the Eagles.

I assume J Peters will not be available until the latter part of next year so they will need another OT.

the Eagles have relatively few high draft picks next year and they have salary cap problems that will make it difficult for them to fix the problem in free agency.

A OG/OT like T Herremans would be a good fit. Roughly 10 yrs ago Todd was their first OT backup as well as starting OG.

If Vaitai is not a long-term starter this guy could be the long term LT. He is projected to be drafted low 1st round or high 2nd.

4. Martinas Rankin, OT, Mississippi State Height: 6-5. Weight: 307. Projected 40 Time: 5.20.
Projected Round (2018): 1-2.
10/14/17: Rankin has blocked really well for Mississippi State this season. He was moved to left tackle and has held up well at protecting the blind side for Nick Fitzgerald. Rankin has shown good athleticism with quick feet in pass protection. He also has blocked well in the ground game. The senior is helping himself in 2017.

I had previously been thinking the Eagles might look to trade down from the 1st round and acquire a hi-mid 2nd and hi-mid 3rd in order to draft a feature RB and a LB to replace Kendricks. However, the acquisition of Ajayi, the performance of Kendricks, the performance and legal status of Bradham and the continued injury history of Hicks makes that plan unlikely.
