I don't remember hearing his name called. Did they give him a lot of help?

Overall, they seemed to do a very good job protecting Wentz. They ran for over 200 yards so I guess they run blocked well, too. smile.gif

Not hearing his name called is the best news we can hear about him.

You don't want your name called if you're an o-lineman. That's great.

Not great is I don't remember noticing Agholor on the field until midway through the 2nd half. He may not be headed for Canton after all.

Last night on the sports talk shows they were saying that Big V played great.

Also, I heard that Agholar was getting extra attention from DEN. They thought so much of him that they had an extra guy leaning his way since Ertz was out. That's impressive.

Wentz did what you are supposed to do, go where the coverage isn't.

I'll say this about Nelly, that last 4th quarter catch from Foles was a fifty-fifty ball and he made the catch with the CBs arms all over him. It was an impressive display of how far he has come this year.

The fact that defenses are scheming to stop him is the real harbinger of his arrival.

Well said about Agholor! There's no way he would have made that catch last year. He'd have found a way to drop it or hand the ball to the DB for an INT. He's a new man this year.

Here's Stoutland's take on his starters:
LJ - "I think [he's] at a different level right now"
Brooks - "Pretty awesome. And then he can stand at the line of scrimmage in a phone booth and knock your face off."
Kelce - "I have always had a tremendous regard for Jason Kelce and his ability to play center in this league."
Wiz - "Just proved it every day. Production. Bottom line"
Big V - "I like him as a left tackle. He's been a natural left tackle."
Maybe not the "best" in the league, but the OL has been a big part of the team's success and they're playing like they think they're the best. The right side could be the best, and it looks like LJ stays there.

Offense starts with the OL, and after initial concerns about how well Vaitai would be able to play on Wentz' blind side, I've stopped worrying.
