Wentz has grown far beyond any expectations any of us had, knew he would be great eventually, but not this good this soon.

I may need to resign my Axis membership if this continues.

This is awesome.

Beyond my wildest dreams.

We keep underestimating this team. Fucking trauma.

I have to keep doubting it, because it's working

Drinking all the Green Kool-Aid now. Wentz and Co. will avenge McNabb, Vick, Randall, Reggie, Dawk, etc.

If the Eagles face the Patriots and blow them out somehow it will be the GOAT

Very impressive, I hope they are not thinking, "We've arrived."

You don't want your team to peak too early. They have several tough and important games coming up in the coming weeks.

Strangely I'd feel better if they won this one by just 10 going into the bye week and before probably the most important game of the season.

When you make a good D look bad, other teams are going to be motivated to prepare extra hard so you don't embarrass them. No one is going to overlook the Eagles now.

We got to see today why I had hoped they would have picked up another backup OT. Von Miller wasted no time against Seumalo and the result was 6 points going the other way.

Ajayai looked better than I expected.

Wiz and the center of the line got the job done.

Hats off to the backup TEs for making plays. They put up 50 without CW's favorite receiver and their HoF L OT.

Very impressive.

The Franchise
The game of the year could be Goff vs. Wentz in a month. I doubt anyone thought that going into the season.

Honestly, Joe. Sometimes I have to wonder about your perspective. That was Foles in there which only underlines the major difference that Wentz makes.

I think Joe's just trying to keep us grounded.

Otherwise we'd all be on the SuperBowl bandwagon jumpclap.gif

OK, so on pre-game show today, Ray Diddy (who is famous for the term 'reality check' when people get too effusive about the birds) said he sees them at least making the NFCCG. That was before today's decimation of Denver.

It's fine to be grounded, but this kind of season doesn't happen often. When we get worried about Foles coming into a game after an ugly preseason and getting strip sacked by Von fing Miller with a score of 900 to 20, that's not enjoying what's happening. Enjoy it, Joe! So far this is like leaving the bar late and all the gorgeous women are waiting to see if they can go home with you.

Except Miller was way offsides on the play but they didn't call it.

And, more importantly, why the hell were they THROWING the ball there!!?? Run the damn ball and run the time out!!!!

I really want to like Pedey but it's stupid calls like that which make me question whether he'll ever be able to win the big one down the line. Absolutely NO reason to throw the ball there.

I actually liked the call the let Foles throw. I would like to know that our backup QB can throw a decent pass. Given a decent block from his right side, he may have been able to get that one off. It was a huge lead with time to kill. He came back and made a great pass later, so I'll take it as a confidence boost for our QB2.

We know what Foles looks like. He doesn't need to prove himself to us. In fact, I'll bet they trade him in the offseason to get some picks back. He should be starting somewhere.

Again, there was absolutely NO reason for him to be throwing in that situation.

And, add to the fact Miller was WAY offsides, it's very difficult to block someone who is that far offsides. Go watch the play again, I did and he was absolutely offsides.

Not sure why you need a confidence boost from him. He only had one of the most spectacular seasons any QB has ever had when he was last in Philly. He did a nice job filling in when he was in KC and never really got a chance. He was on a trainwreck of a team in St. Louis at the time. He should be starting somewhere.
