Week 5: Eric Rowe plays 0 out of New England’s 72 defensive snaps. That’s good for 0% (thanks). Rowe was inactive due to the groin injury he re-aggravated in Week 4. Rowe has now only played 90 of 340 snaps through the first five games, which is 26.5%. If you weren’t resigned to getting the fourth-round pick by now, it’s probably time you start. The Eagles really need 1) Rowe to get healthy and 2) the Patriots to give less playing time to Malcolm Butler and/or Stephon Gilmore. For what it’s worth, Rowe is the 111th corner out of 111 corners graded by Pro Football Focus this season.

111th CB out of 111, ouch.

That's one step closer to Belacheat convincing him to switch to safety and making him into the really good one so many people expected him to be.

Wow, that sucks.

Weren't we on pace to get the 3rd?

Bottom 1%.
Not good.

Wait a minute. We all complained that Roseman shit the bed by trading away a Kelly second rounder to the Wizard of Foxboro for a fourth when we needed corners, and it turns out he sucks as a corner and that's "not good?" Sure, a third would be better, but kudos to the coaches and GM for unloading what appears to be a bust and getting something decent for him ... especially from Belicheat!

True.

But that was sunk cost; he was already gone.

I was just focusing on our return and we need picks.

I would have been happy with 51% playing time for a bunch of stiffs DB's in NE.
