And four of the next five at home.

How about that late cover?

Anyone have WAS +7 ?

That's tough one there!

You were a week late with your prediction, but better late than never laugh.gif
Joegrane
Other than failing to cover they should come out of KC rather encouraged. The Skins look better than the Eagles, especially considering how decimated their D was from injuries.

The Washington Redskins suffered a blow to their defense on Monday night.

Josh Norman suffered a fractured rib during the the Redskins' 29-20 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, according to coach Jay Gruden. Norman exited just before halftime after assisting on a tackle of Chiefs receiver Chris Conley.

The Redskins are concerned Norman suffered a a possible internal injury, a source informed of the situation told NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport. They are particularly concerned he is dealing with a possible lung issue, Rapoport added.
Here ...

If he's still out in three weeks our passing game just improved.

Kind of like what Ertz had with the concern of internal injury.

Weren't we 3-1 in our 1st 4 last year too before you went on a spiral of death?

Is this improper?

yes but last year we lost LJohnson and did not have a decent backup due to desperate attempt to get a servicable outside W R. Also had no depth @ CB and rookies @ QB & H Coach

This is a better team in a weaker division.

In 20 games Wentz is 2-8 without Lane and 8-2 with him on the field...methinks there is a correlation here.

Wow, home field advantage so far.

How are we the #1 3-1 team?

I would think the tiebreakers would be conf record.

Any ideas?

Maybe playoff tie breaker rules

Strength of schedule.
Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed.
Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed.
Best net points in conference games.
Best net points in all games.
Best net touchdowns in all games.
Coin toss.

Several times there have been scenarios entering the final week where a team had to win by 'x' points to guarantee a playoff spot, but it never actually materialized because of won-loss results that day. To the best of my knowledge, it's never gone beyond winning percentage in common games.

I wouldn't want to be in center city after we lose a coin toss and have to miss the playoffs..... devil03.gif

Most 3-1 teams are easy, they have worse conference records than us.

With the Falcons, their strength of victory is .583 - ours is .166 (I wish I didn't look that up, the teams we've beaten are a combined 2-10)

Hmm, beats the hell out of me. It also makes no sense that the Panthers would be ahead of them in their division. Maybe it's just too early for anyone at espn to give a shit.

FWIW,

I think that the year we won the Div w Vermeil, we had to not lose by more than 21 points ore something at DAL to win the division. That last game at DAL, we were down more than 21 so at one point we would have lost the division, but then we came back to make it a division winning close loss!

Sorry pal, I was born during his last year here and can't reminisce with you. biggrin.gif

It's also fun reminding Bills fans that if you were born the last year they won a playoff game, you can legally drink now.
