Well, we made it through Irma. Lost power for abiout 5 minutes during the game--right when the Redskins made the run to take a lead--then we lost it at about midnight. Thankfullly--like Mathew--they had it back on by the afternoon. Ran the generator for 6 hours or so to keep the fridge and freezer ok. Lost some shingles on the house but, otherwise, no problems. Much of the rest of the area didn't far as well.

Lots of flooding at the beaches and downtown Jacksonville. LOTS of trees down.

This was WAY more scary then Mathew last year. The noise of the winds all night were downright terrifying. We were under a tornado watch all night until 11am yesterday. I kept listening for a tornado to come through the house. Didn't get much sleep.

If this thing had come up the East Coast like they originally said, we would have been devastated. Friends on the West Coast we know are all ok. Lots of damage but ok.

These storms are no joke.

Heading out today to help people clean up.
Glad to hear it, Rick.
Good to hear you made it through unscathed.
Good to hear you're okay.
