Taking from BGN, Philly.com and Philly Voice, a couple of common observations:

1. Jefferey continues to impress. Had a nice TD over Douglas.

2. Douglas has been impressive, always around the ball making plays.

3. Barnett fitting in nicely.

4. Mack Hollins playing well. Gibson continues to struggle.

5. Some of the deep backup CB have made some decent plays.

6. Wentz continues his up and down days. Continues to throw high. A little concern.

7. Smith still missing in action.

Nelson Agholor plays the slot
With Matthews sitting out, Nelson Agholor took most of the first-team repetitions as the slot receiver. Agholor spent his first two seasons in the NFL disappointing as an outside wideout, but he could find a new role supplementing Matthews on the inside this year.

What it means
It’s unlikely Agholor will swipe a starting spot from Matthews, but any change of scenery could be a worthwhile experiment for the 2015 first-rounder. Agholor had some positive moments in the slot Tuesday, too, providing a semblance of momentum to build on.

You two do know that you're talking about someone who doesn't even know where the line of scrimmage is?

Agholor will make the team but right now he's not even guaranteed to be active on game day. Jeffrey, Matthews and Smith are ahead as WRs and Hollins will be needed for STs.

It's not easy to figure that out. They really should consider adding dash lines to hash-mark the yards to make it easier. Just an idea. Maybe even number them or something like that.

But what do I know. I play soccer where everything is clearly marked, so...

Another fine Axisish post. The committee has noticed.
