We flip a coin to see who is 14th and who 15th.

Interesting that our original pick would have only been at 12, 2-3 slots ahead.

Not too bad, all things considered.

yeah....it was shear brilliance to know that Bridgewater would blow his knee out in a year the Vikes thought they would not have 30 injuries and compete

We got lucky with the Bridgewater injury, but then hindsight is always used to criticise moves (eg if Brooks and Sapp had been busts, Mamula would have been OK) so can be used to judge the outcome in a positive sense.

Effectively we dropped down two/three spots this year and Wentz gained an entire season of experience. The trade up last year to get our QB looks a lot less expensive now.

I think the brilliance may have been taking advantage a situation that presented itself and risking the development of an expensive rookie as a means for getting currency to give that rookie some help. It was a risk that other teams may not have been willing to take. Did it help Wentz to play a year instead of watch and hold a clipboard? We'll see, but frequently people who don't take risks don't excel. Roseman's problem hasn't been his actions, it's been the players he's taken. That's where I'm hoping the new personnel guys fix things.

That sounds like an excuse and you promised this year would be the year of no excuses.
