This is a hard to team to love. Snarky coach, an inconsistent and maddening offense, a 1%er CB who won't tackle and a rehabbing QB who everyone loves to hate. But this is Philadelphia, so we find a way and do a good job of it.

But the other side of that tarnished coin is that this team has single handedly destroyed the season of the real team we all love to hate and do it in an exemplary fashion. Jordan Hicks took out Romo and precipitated a lovely 5 game losing streak that just turned to 6 and ended their season. Get it? Our team, the Philadelphiafucking Eagles just destroyed the season of the team we hate most of any team in the NFL (apologies, Dreagon). That's better than a birthday, Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years all together. Our team set it up for the world to watch Jerryfuking Jones to hang his head and shuffle out of his super box in his gitzy, hole-in-the-roof stadium ... defeated, dejected and forlorn.

How can you wimpy, whiny perfectionists not be rejoicing? It's party time!!!

It's just easier to be pessimistic.

It squashed the Boy's best realistic chance to make the playoffs. They needed the W and the tiebreaker with the Eagles, the most likely team to win the division based on difficulty of schedule.

The QB looked solid even behind a banged up O line and weak WRs. How good will he look when he actually gets a true #1 receiver.

They were going up against a good D although banged up at MLB. Remember Seattle did not put up even 20 on Dallas in Seattle.

The banged up O line allowed RBs to gain 175 yards rushing and Bradford was not harassed excessively by pass rush.

The WRs generally held onto the ball except for Huff's weekly Red Zone whiff.

However there are sobering signs from the game

Jenkins was exposed against a very quick WR. Thankfully Biggers stopped the bleeding. His deflection late in the game was big as was his tackle on the 80 yd return.

N Carroll did not have a good game. That was the type of performance I expected from him this year.

They will miss Hicks but the other ILBs are getting healthy.

How good would the Cowboys be with Romo? They would easily be the best team in the division.

If the Eagles had not taken the air out of their sails, they might have carried the momentum to victory next week and then continued to win with Romo.
