Amazing what can happen when you get some protection and your receivers can actually get some separation.

Our pass protection hasn't been that bad this year.

That seemed to be primarily on our former #4 overall pick.

I've been hard on the luke warm stiffs at G, but Johnson had a poor game today. The last two sacks merely emphasised that.

Not to mention the 4th one called back by penalty!

I disagree. I think the pass protection has been well below average. Too much pressure on Bradford.

He escaped 2-3 more sacks, once to throw a hell of a TD to 87!

Bradford surprised me with his legs a couple of times today. Nice scramble for a first down also.

He played well today.

I know in the past,we blamed the starting QB when he leaves the field and gives the D a lead, but I didn't then and I won't now.

I just don't know how long this OL will keep him functional.

BTW, Johnson sprained his MCL and left the locker room with an ice pack on it.

He was toughing it out given the fact that everyone else was hobbled.

I agree. Remember Checkdown Charlie has maybe the lowest yards per completion in the league. Part of that is probably due to lack of trust in most of his WRs and the quality of his RBs and TE as receivers.. However some of that is lack of trust in his patchwork O Line.
