He's lucky Barkley sucks even worse. wtf is up with the pornstar stash, Matt? Lol

TeBlow is not nearly as ellusive as he thinks he is. Looks slow, even against DTs. And at least half his passes are misfires. I hate inconsistency almost as much as turnovers in a QB.

I'll admit he might make it on the team, tho. Barkley is putrid
JeeQ
Same old Tebow laugh.gif Hope he never changes... Love how he holds onto the ball for as long as humanely possible even when the play is long dead

Literally stands there and waits to get sacked

Tebow looked mediocre, certainly not good enough to beat out one of our other QB's. Glad you are enjoying it. Comical how much energy you invest in rooting against someone.

And Tebow had to make a play on every snap just trying to catch the ball. The snaps he got from center were a factor on some plays. Who was that center?

Root against? Never. I have never rooted against any Eagles player, on any play I ever watched. Ever.

I'ml all for TeBlow, and any other Eagles player, every time they step on the field.

Good run. Elway-eske

It was only one game, but Tebow's best chance to make the team at this point is maybe that all 3 of the other QB's play so well that we are able to grab a 3rd rounder for Sanchez/Barkley and we choose that option over keeping Sanchez/Barkley as the 3rd string QB.

The very reason I mentioned before the game that I had hoped he would get some snaps with the 2s to see what he looked like.....he threw some very good balls but he held the ball a little long at other times...the 3 ground balls were results of getting hit as he threw.....not easy to throw the quick pass when you are hoping to get a decent snap.....

He did ok and Barkley did ok for some snaps and terrible on others.....I don't think either one took a lead in the competition.

Considering Tebow missed a year I thought Barkley might be more polished......but Tebow will need to show something against better competition before we see if he is worth anything.

I agree with the stache....wtf? What was he thinking?

On a side note....Tebow was never an "elusive" runner...he is fast and strong...always has been...he has never been a Barry Sanders type runner.

3 misfires were a result of getting hit as each replay clearly showed......be fair at least. He was slow to process his reads though...not a good sign

Barkley looked good at times....neither did much to hurt the other's chances...

Barkley out performed TeBlow by a wiiiiiiide margin as I see it.

Tim was terrible. Doesn't see the field, holds the ball, doesn't feel pressure, and looks slow footed. The "new" mechanics don't do a thing for me. He still takes a week to get through his throwing motion.

Look at his first completion to Tomlinson. The safety, plants, reacts, breaks on ball and recovers 5 yards of space all during the throwing motion.

The guy is simply NOT a viable quarterback. I was most surprised with how slow he looked. Running was supposed to be something he could do well. If that's what he does well, he's in real trouble.

I was surprised to see the DT outrun him.

I thought he looked slow too. And he he'd the ball to long. Qnd he missed wide open receivers. He had a couple of really nice passes, too

As I have said before...I don't care if Tebow makes it or not...he is nothing to me...especially as a 3rd string QB but you clearly have an axe to grind with him...

His first pass was perfect and were the next 3....after that it was sketchy but you lose any credibility if you think his throwing motion is long....his decision making process is way too slow...no question.....but he does not wind up......he holds the ball high just for that reason...to eliminate that

Went back to watch it again....the play...the throw Mike Mayock refered to as Tebow's best was perfect...of all his throws you picked the worst example...his first..the screen pass...maybe but Tomlinson settled under a zone in front of 3 players for a first down....

Who? Me?

I thought they both sucked at times and both had some nice throws ..and I don't care if they both get cut so I have no agenda...

As far as the Jesus boy stuff?...you crack me up.....

I agree. Now let me see if the forecast for Phoenix, Arizona includes snow tomorrow.

Barkley was great on that one drive that ended in a TD. He might have been better than Sanchez was today, aside from that ball that got tipped and that one noodle ball. The last time I actually paid attention to Barkley at QB, he looked like a worse version of Tebow. Clearly something happened.

Tebow was... Tebow. He did Tebow things. When he was passing, he did have a few good throws, but I can't recall if there was anything different. Lots of zone reads that went nowhere. For a couple of series, his "20,000 year windup" returned and he was getting sacked. For some crazy reason, the fans in Philly loved it.

WRONG! Sundays are for bloody mary's. Not JD.

I went back and watched it again. I actually thought it was sanchez on his td drive. I didnt' realize Sanchez was pulled in the first quarter. And I missed the first series in the second half. So yeah, Barkley played better than I gave him credit for. Clearly better than Teblow after all. And Sanchez was even worse than I thought.

mcnabbulous
I only saw the first series and Sanchez was brutal. I didn't see either Barkley or Tebow, but I bet they both sucked.
