Full Version: Foles vs Bradford : Red Zone Stats?

The discussions comparing Foles and Bradford have been interesting but the QBs are coming from different situations.

Foles more often had a good O Line, explosive weapons and solid offensive systems. He also tended to be playing against the weak defenses in the NFC East. Bradford had to play 6 times per year against SanFran, Seattle and Arizona.

When Foles had DJax, defenses had to protect themselves against Jackson's explosive ability. However, DJax was probably a liability in the Red Zone. Probably none of the Eagles' starting skill players have been above average threats in the Red Zone but he had an excellent O Line in 2013.

It would be interesting to compare their Red Zone stats. Anyone have those stats?

I'm not a big fantasy football guy nor am I a stats geek but these Red Zone stats seem relevant.

Foles was playing in a different universe in 2013, but his 2012 and 2014 stats weren't better than Tim Tebow's career stats.

Both Foles in 2013 and Romo in 2014 were playing behind very good O Lines and were surrounded with weapons.

Your points about the OL, especially in 2013 and the level of competition have validity. I just think Brad has more talent if he can stay on the field.
