The PR team gets a pat on the back for preparing the press conferences today. In particular Bradford and Chip's conferences.

The press gets criticism for not asking the right questions:

1. Chip, what does Bradford do better than Mariota in an offense like yours?

2. You say that part of the benefit of trading McCoy was to get back $10M of cap which you used to buy Maxwell, who did we lose out getting in FA because taking on Bradford's contract cost us $12M more than Foles??

bingo.

the reporters really threw him some softballs.

Also about the salary cap room. We had 40 MILLION for 2015 in cap space. Now im no mathematician, but how could we have not afforded, lets just say, 1 of the players we released. Why couldn't we use that space to keep Maclin?

We could have easily.

They just didn't think he was worth $4M total more over the 3-4 year deal it would have become.
