Matt Barkley's arm simply isn't good. Everything he throws has way too much air under it.
Looks like WR Jeff Maehl is hurt again. Out here watching without a helmet.
Jordan Matthews on first team hauls in beautiful catch between Barwin and Allen in middle of the field. Fingertip catch.
Barkley with a gorgeous throw to Chris Polk on a wheel route down the sideline. Dropped it right in the bucket.
Next play, Barkley intercepted by Marsh.
Kinne obviously rattled by first-team defense, takes two straight sacks. When second team steps on, he drills one to Matthews.
Foles not as good rolling to his left as he is going right. Floated an ugly ball over the middle that fell incomplete.
Barkley hits Huff who makes a leaping catch in the corner of the end zone for a touchdown.
Chip spends a noticeable chunk of practice watching special teams. Was an emphasis of his last season, but they were not especially good
Difference this season is personnel. Maragos and Braman were two or first players down chasing punt. Nolan Carroll working at gunner
Alejandro Villanueva arrived raw and light when the Eagles signed the former U.S. Army Ranger as a free agent during the offseason. He's improving in both areas. Villanueva has gained about 30 pounds and is now around 300. "Obviously, the food here is unbelievable," he said. "The chefs do a great job with the kitchen. Not running as much, that's actually been a big key, too, not going on long runs every day."
Receiver Ifeanyi Momah's bid to make the Eagles last year was well chronicled. He didn't, and Momah spent a year without a team. This year, the 6-foot-7, 240-pounder has looked sharp during OTAs and during Tuesday's first day of minicamp. Of course, things could change once the pads come on in late July, but so far, he has opened some eyes. "He's a big guy and is using his body to block guys out to make a catch," quarterback Nick Foles said. "I think he took what he learned here last year and, when he wasn't here, you can tell he really worked on it."
I like Villanueva. I hope he makes it.

Barkley needs to be cut after the second preseason game at most. We may need to sign another quarterback or two depending how Sanchize and Kinne do.
