I'm not posting that quote because I think Lawlor is all that, but because it seems to fit how I envision Kelly and his approach. I get the sense that Chip isn't filling holes, but building his team. It fits with the remarks about "culture", it fits with Jackson's release and it fits with how this draft is unfolding. What Chip values in a player may not be what the pundits value. To all the mocks and ratings Smith and Huff may be reaches, but to Kelly they may be integral to what he values for his team.
