It's interesting that he won't restructure.

Doing so would get him the guaranteed money he supposedly wants.

Maybe he just is saying that until he finds out it is a team he wants to go to as opposed to the outcasts he could end up in.

Two questions (speculative) ...

1. Rap music is reportedly connected with gang "culture." Could DeSean and his new music enterprise becoming gang related? If Eagles security has reported to the team on that, wouldn't it be better to separate now rather than take the risk of that infecting other players?

2. What is the potential penalty for tampering? Seeing as Woody has told the world that the Jets are interested in Jackson, would it be cleaner for him to just give up that penalty pick in exchange for Jackson and avoid all the bad press? Or, could a penalty be added to whatever compensation the Jets or other team pays for him, assuming he's not released?

'Reportedly?' It goes hand in hand with gang culture - DJax has been shown throwing up Crip gang signs, and made a rap
video with Snoop Dogg, a former Crip himself. Gang culture has a hold in the NFL, I mentioned in a previous thread all of
these teams that now offer black alternate jerseys have done so because of lobbying from gang members. He's stayed in
trouble off the field, but reportedly his house being robbed caused some red flags.

Personally, I don't care about his background, until he does something wrong off the field a la Hernandez.

P.S. Hopefully with the departure of our race-baiting coward friend, we can talk about such subjects with honesty.....
