Worth noting that he seems to be doing a hell of a job in Carolina. Good for him. I was pretty hard on the guy when he was here, but he was in an impossible situation.

Worth noting as well that the HC is the architect of the defense there.

Not to disparage McDermott, he did get a raw deal in Philly.

I like Rivera, but everything I've heard is that McDermott is extremely influential in what they're doing on defense. Always hard to say who has the biggest influence in those types of situations, though.

Have any come down here to Charlotte to see a game?
Yes they are on a winning streak. Tickets were being given away at a loss three weeks ago. Know tripled in price. Tailgating is great. The rest is a mid-day Opera house. Oh and watch out for the vicious "Sir Purr" .
Live hear, Philly Proud.

On the flip side, Ray Didinger on WIP this morning mentioned that part of the general unraveling of the Ravens this year is due to severe underutilization of Ray Rice, which he traced back to Juan Castillo's influence in changing the Baltimore blocking scheme. There's brewing mutiny down there as the losses pile up.
