Was on ESPN looking for cuts news from around the league when I stumbled on this:

I would have thought an AL team made sense. You can't hide his glove at 3rd. He's a killer there.

I wish him the best. A classy guy.

We rec'd the 19th best prospect in LA's minor league system according to MLB network.

Rob Rasmussen, LHP SP, 24 years old was 3-4 w/ 2.55 ERA at AA level, who projects to back of the rotation starter.

I'll take it

Did you expect more than this type of prospect for someone LA can only use for a month and in playoffs and is a defensive liability?

Is this more than we could have gotten a month ago?

My answers are no and maybe.

I don't know if I kill him for this

No, I expected something to be done around the trade deadline when we were still in the race. Boosting one of the best teams in baseball in exchange for a guy who will probably only make a couple token starts at the MLB level isn't an acceptable substitute. Young can help most contenders, especially in the AL. We couldn't get an MLB bound player for him at all this year?
