Man, i would love to see a 6'6" 260 lb monster slamming heads in the END ZONE! No Jimmy Graham this year--or a Gronkowski--but one of these guys could help. Tight end is more and more important. We need some way of attacking the seams without our receivers getting killed.

Here's the top five tight ends:

1 Tyler Eifert JR Notre Dame 6-6 251 lbs.

Great hands and causes matchup problems.

2 Gavin Escobar JR San Diego St. 6-6 255 lbs.

Looks good in the redzone.

3 Zach Ertz SR Stanford 6-6 252 lbs.

"Where Ertz really impresses NFL scouts is his willingness to help his teammates, whether it?s his persistence to get open or his effort-blocking at all levels of the field."

4 Dion Sims JR Michigan St. 6-5 285 lbs.

Sims injured his ankle--but continued to play. This might be a steal in the second round.

5 Joseph Fauria SR UCLA 6-7 255 lbs.

I agree that we need a third TE for the roster, and preferably one that would challenge Celek as the starter rather than Harbor for the back up job.

But given our other needs how early could we realistically take a TE? I'd say rounds 4 or 5.
