and set the Denver Broncos record for TDs in a season--more than John Elway. That's GREATNESS. They have won 7 in a row, clinched their division at 9-3. And the guy is 36 years old!

In Eagles history we have had 2 great quarterbacks: Norm VanBrocklin 1958-1960 and Sonny Jurgenson 1957 -1963 (started only 61-63). THAT'S IT.

Isn't it amazing that considering all of the great QBs to come into the league in the last 50 years, we didn't get ONE? Not one.

McNabb--very good
Jaworski--very good
Cunningham--very good

Hall of Fame great? No.

It's debatable whether McNabb should be in the HoF but I agree with you. We've not had a LEGENDARY QB since the 60s.

One QB we drafted had the talent to be great was John Reaves: drafted #14 in 1972. He wa an all-american at Florida and set passing records. He started right away, but he got beat to death because we had no line. The next year we got Roman Gabriel and he sat. In 1976 we traded Reaves for Stan Walters which turned out fine. He sat behind Ken Anderson for four years.

Interesting sidenote: He is Lane Kiffin's father-in-law.
