I'm hoping to God it's a meaningless rumor.

If Riley Cooper is healthy I don't get why they don't go with him. Cooper has earned a chance to start.

NFL coaches are too hesitant to give young players a chance.

With TO, Ocho, and Plaxico all in free agency, it was only a matter of time before the Eagles took a look at them given our two injured WRs. Personally I've given up on Riley Cooper, but I'd love to see guys like Johnson (Damaris mind you), Gilyard and McNutt given more shots then bring in one of these vets.

What do people see in McNutt? He sucks.

Starting Gilyard or D Johnson would be totally fine with me. Signing Ochocinco would be tard city. We don't need some over the hill bum. Let the kids play.

Herremens at RT also sucks. Reid should replace him with Dunlap when Dunlap is healthy. If Watkins ever improves and Kelce can return from injury our Oline might no longer be a total train wreck by the time the playoffs roll around.

I don't mind them taking a look at a veteran FA....Burress would seem the logical choice........this team is looking at big things and while one rookie or teir B vet may be ok as a 3rd or 4th guy we need some talent in the 2 slot and Maclin needs to sit for a few weeks or that hip will hamper him all season. It would be low risk to bring in a guy like Burress or Johnson(who has been a good teammate for the last several years, just not a good hubby) to help out until Maclin is 100%.

C'mon guys. The answer is obvious. Donovan's not here anymore to sabotage him - time to bring him HOME!:

if they had to go vet FA, I'd definitely go with Plax. Just because he's a lot of things Eagle WRs at present are not...

but I'd also think it wouldn't hurt using some of the young guys now. I like Johnson (the one the Eagles currently have on their roster)
