Full Version: A question about Vick's fumble\incomplete play

The refs got the call right and ruled the play an incomplete pass.

My question is, why at that point was Vick not called for intentional grounding? The TV only showed one wide angle replay and I could see nothing but linemen in the view.

Celek was in the back of the end zone, which is where he wanted to go with the ball. The hit caused the short throw.

I didn't see Celek in the back of the end zone on any replay. Not saying he was not there but I did not see him and I was specfically looking for an eligible receiver.

In any event, I do not think the rules allow for where the QB wanted the ball to go when he was hit. I could be wrong on that as well.
