Full Version: Vick, Kafka, Edwards, Foles

These are from the official site.
Vick, Michael 6-0 215
Kafka, Mike 6-3 225
Edwards, Trent 6-4 230
Foles, Nick 6-6 243

Vick has some trouble seeing over "the forest" of OL and DL at 6' and is appearing to be tough but somewhat fragile. It's no wonder the FO is stocking up on bigger QBs.

Probably get whacked for this but its possible Edwards shows well after some serious tutoring from Marty, Doug and Andy. Marty had some nice things to say about him and I wouldn't be surprised if he were in strong competition for #2. He hasn't exactly been in the best of situations since he's been in the league and this team does seem to do a pretty good job with QBs.

Vick and Foles are locks for the team. Does someone get injured, traded or just lose the competiton?

I can't see Kafka getting cut or traded. There is hardly any film on Kafka as a pro so there is no trade. I can't see this team investing 2 years into a QB's development and getting nothing in return. Edwards was on the street before and available, can't see why they can't put him back on street. Look for Foles to get a injury in the last preseason game.

Edwards is scum. I would rather go with 2 QBs than have a piece of shit like Edwards on the team.
BirdsWinBaby
and so the plot thickens...

Eagles sign another QB

Edwards will get the axe.

Who would have thought 2 years ago, when I became a member of Wingheads, that sometime in the future, there would be a post with the word "Pasok"... laugh.gif

Seriously, you gotta do a better job trolling... Why don't you tell me about how McNabb could help Pasok? laugh.gif cool.gif

McNabb could probably do a better job running Greece than your current leaders.

Golden Dawn should dump that crazy guy they have now and replace him with McNabb.

Somehow I'm not sure that would go over well.....

I agree with the first part...we have the top dumb-asses of the world as leaders. Luckily, more and more people realise that with every passing day.

As for the second part, it would be interesting to see a black-guy leading a neo-nazi party...on the other hand, we're talking about Greece - why not?

Anyway, thanks to Greece, I will have to pay more euro's for my NFL HD Pass this year sad.gif

How do you think the Golden Dawn will do in the new elections? This time it's only with the parties which had enouhg votes the first time, right?

I assume that question was addressed to Kamelot but I'll answer anyway. I don't think Golden Dawn will do much better in the second round than they did initially. Their leader's "victory" speech after the elections was one of the most bizarre speeches I've ever seen a politician give and left me, and probably most voters, questioning his mental stability. Golden Dawn's appeal comes from it being the main right wing anti Euro party and having a cool logo, the others all being on the left and not having cool logos. It is the left anti Euro parties that I see gaining seats in the next elections.

The only thing I care about is that Greece leaves the Eurozone. Once Greece goes, the death watch for the nightmare known as the EU starts. In 10 years people will be burning Euros to heat their homes.

Unfortunately, I can't say you're wrong. Greek politicians were always a bunch of shit-heads, most of them useless and some of them smart; smart to make money using their power. Both of them fucked the Greek economy and people really didn't notice. That's where the Greek people are at fault, but on the other hand, I can't blame them all.

The older people were poor and not educated, so they voted those who promised money to people, jobs to their children etc. Really, that's the root of all evil, but how can you blame them?? My grandparents went to school for a couple of years or not at all. They know nothing about economy etc. They suffered from poverty and hunger in the WWII and then, we had the civil war...right-wingers VS left-wingers.

That made things worse. Those who had relatives killed by one side, started hating that side and the opposite. Greece divided and that's why we had 30+ years of two parties ruling. People thought they were voting "right" or "socialism" but that was true only until the mid-80s.

Then, the politicians became 10000% the same: "Money to our pockets, fuck the country, fuck the people, they stupid and always vote for us"

So we came to where we are now. Of course, we are not alone. Spain and other countries have fucked up too and the worst part is that Germany, who should be a bit grateful that they were given the chance to rise again after what they caused with Hitler, is forcing people to poverty with these stupid austerity measures.

Anyway, I guess only time will tell...

As for Golden Dawn, really, I don't give a crap. They're a bunch of thugs, but I kinda like they are in the Parliament. They're not worse than most of the people in there. The bad thing about them is they attack illegal (and legal) immigrants, but that was happening before the elections too, so that doesn't change a thing. Like I said to my friends, I'd take Golden Dawn in Parliament than Golden Dawn in the streets.
