Yay! Except for a few more random tv appearances discussing a few winners & losers, we don't have to look at Mel Kiper's face or hear his voice for about another 11 months!!!!! jumpclap.gif God I can't stand him.

mcnabbulous
I actually ran into him once at a CVS when I lived in Baltimore. He was a really nice guy. Changed my opinion of him, as I had assumed he'd be arrogant.

It's McShay that I can't stand.

Yeah I suppose it's that he looks like the most pompous ass you can ever possibly imagine, it's gotta be the hair. It's good to hear he's nice in real life, I don't like McShay either.
Jerome Brown Experience
In one of the more bizarre experiences of my life (the most would be when I was stranded in a small hotel in Chicago with Ron Jeremy during a snowstorm when I was in college during a huge snowstorm. I had no idea who he was but he had 4 women in the 30-50 age range give him their room number while we were talking at the bar) I was stuck in a bar with Mel Kiper for 6 hours as an international flight was delayed. We were seemingly the only Americans there and got into a conversation. We didn't talk much about football as I didn't want to be "that guy" but he was very nice, very funny (like, shockingly so) and very smart on a number of issues. I would second the "he is a good guy" rating and also add that he has been a force of one creating interest in the draft. I have no beefs with the guy, he calls them like he sees them and makes mistakes.

And? You didn't ask him to 'share the wealth?' You probably could've worked out a 6-way.....

You know, this was back before the days of the interwebs and I really had NO idea who the guy was. He said he was in entertainment and I figured he was like an agent or something. He ended up leaving with a woman who was seriously unreal looking and who walked up to him, bought him a drink, put her wedding band in her purse very visibly and said something like "so what do I need to do to seal this deal?"

He smiled, let her pay his tab and walked out with her. I was mind blown as he is not a guy who immediately strikes you as appealing. I was convinced he was a local tv celebrity or something. About a month later I was purchasing some adult content and saw his face on a box cover. It was like watching Chazz Palminteri put all the pieces together on Verbal Kint at the end of The Usual Suspects.

'you know back when I was a porn star in Skokie Illinois...my co-star was fat I mean she was ORCA-fat...my director was a guy named Redfoot...kobayashi-kobayashi-kobayashi'

Yeah he's hideous, and overweight.....and has a 10-inch dick and the assumed ability to get just about any woman off. Crazy.

You know the guy who goes on ESPN and does the draft analysis with Mel? Does anybody else think he is rude to Mel when they are on together?

One thing is for sure: any of our current 3 quarterbacks are better than McNabb. But that isn't saying much considering that McNabb is the biggest fraud in NFL history.
