I managed 66 wpm gross with one mistake so it adjusted me down to 65.

(Reason that I got interested -- I had an applicant send me a resume today wherein she claimed she could type 150 wpm. Color me skeptical.)

I scored 42 wpm, which is pretty consistent with the results any time I take these tests. Considering I have no training whatsoever, I think that's reasonable and is certainly adequate for my purposes.

You're right, I don't. That's why I'm a capitalist. :-)

I do 65 wpm, had a typing class in HS 20 years ago, and am missing the top of the ring finger on my left hand. So theoretically with all 10 fingers intact I could go 72.5.

hehe
Mule
why are my posts so short?

I'm a programmer and typically type about 60 wpm. In this test, I hit 58 wpm, and had a few mistakes, so it was adjusted to 52.

I would imagine someone like a court transcriber could type that fast.

I always thought I was pretty good. I scord a 39 wpm with 7 errors.
