Three games to go and the field is narrowing.

Detroit, Green Bay and Dallas were all eliminated from the race for the # 1 seed this weekend. That leaves Minnesota, LA Rams, Seattle, New Orleans, Carolina and Atlanta.

Here is the schedule.

Cin (5-8) @ Min (10-3)
LAR (9-4) @ Sea (8-5)
NYJ (5-8) @ NO (9-4)
GB (7-6) @ Car (9-4)
Atl (8-5) @ TB (4-9)

An Eagle win against the Giants would eliminate LAR and Car (via head to head tie breaker), Sea and Atl. That would leave Min and NO as the only possible challengers to the #1 seed.

If I have everything correct, the Eagles could wrap up the #1 seed if they beat the Giants along with Cin and NYJ winning their games.

They'll be fortunate to win one playoff game with Foles. That assumes Wiz is healthy. Having Ertz back will help in the running game. I assume he is a better run blocker than Burton.

I don't have much hope that the Eagles with Foles will beat any of the current NFC playoff teams. I think Foles will give them a chance, allow them to stay in the game hoping for a big play from the D or STs.

Who will be QB for the Pack when they go to the Vikes in two weeks?

The Cowboys play the Seahawks in two weeks in Dallas. If the CBs loose they should be out of it before the final Eagles game. That could help a little.

This is the absolute worst thing about the injury, that we'll still be competitive and good with Foles, maybe even good enough to come out of the NFC so we can lose another heartbreaker to the goddam Pats.
