Granted, Smallwood looked slightly less like a waste of a roster spot today, but he doesn't scare anyone. Nobody wants to tackle Blount, and he was gone for long stretches of the game. I know Smallwood ended up with a good statistical day, but I don't think there's any excuse for the amount of touches he got, considering Blount was smashing the Giants and then would disappear for a couple series.
