Obvious answer is to offer all his draft picks to the Colts for the #1 choice.
Quite who he'll take with that pick is anyone's guess, but it would suit his ego to make a monster trade. -------------------- I've been an Eagles fan for that long I can remember when we last had a winning season.

It wouldn't surprise me. He has to be tired of being the team in the NFCEast without a quarterback. So I'm also thinking he makes a move for a QB on draft day. But which one?
1. Peyton Manning? 2. Trade everything for Luck? 3. Trade everything for RGIII? 4. Or trade everything for Bradford and the Rams take RGIII? Since the new rookie wage scale makes RGIII about half as expensive as Bradford, the Rams may want to do that. |

I have a feeling that the 'Skins will sign Orton.

After the Eagles managed to swoop in and surprise everyone with their offseason championship last off-season, rest assured Daniel Snyder is fully committed this year to blowing egregious amounts of money on talent (and some non-talent), only to have his team stutter to yet another last place finish, in a way only the Redskins can.

He would fit right in with Grossman and Beck. The question is, what would Snyder pay for him He paid for McNabb -------------------- Set the flag and carry on, carry on into unknown...with honour we will not walk away.

I don't get why Orton is so disrespected around the league. Sure, he's not Brees or Cam Newton, but if you look at his numbers he's actually a pretty efficient QB despite playing for some miserable teams recently. If anything, he's the anti-Grossman: you're not going to be getting a lot of INTs off the guy.

If anything, he's the anti-Grossman: you're not going to be getting a lot of INTs off the guy. When you sum up his body of work in the NFL, he's a .500 quarterback with a rating of 79. He's not awful, just mediocre. But the Redskins already have mediocre, so the gag was Snyder paying big bucks for more mediocrity. That's assuming they don't give away their draft and trade up for a wide receiver |
