Sounds like the front office has djax fever, Banner has nothing but praise for him saying "He will have a bright future".
Seems he will at the very least be tagged if not re-signed alltogether Having vick/mccoy/djax signed this year may inhibit our chances of upgrading at LB Thoughts? |

I just snorted some pixi-dust and this pink fairy told me we were going to value LB, AND re-sign our offensive stars -------------------- Dick Morris is an incompetent moron, without a shred of credibility.

I'm taking this as evidence that this coming year is "win or leave" for Reid. DJax is a very good receiver, but I doubt many clubs would think he's worth top 5 money. I'm guessing the plan may be to franchise him in order to hold onto him for one last Super Bowl push and then let him go if they don't make it.

If it's do or die for Reid, it will be worth it to pay Jackson for a year because he has nothing to lose if they don't win and he's gone. On the other hand, if they win big enough to insure him three or four more seasons, then he can just let Jackson go and bring in new talent and he's still lost nothing. |

I still like keeping DJax, I just don't like paying him top tier money. He can be quite an asset to any team. Keep his head straight and you've got a great deep threat and a great return guy. Two things which doesn't hurt to have on any team.
