Since he apparently hurt himself doing a personal workout, they could have cut him, but reworked his contract instead making it much more favorable for the birds.

That stinks for both him and the Eagles.

I assume we'll see DEs working inside on obvious passing downs.

6 months ago Tim J seemed to be one of the young building blocks for the future. Now he looks like one of the long list of the players that the Eagles will have to replace in the coming years.

Your comments are weird sometimes, Joe.

We had DEs inside on 3rd down all of last year. There was even a pretty well-known play in the SB that resulted in a turnover, in which a DE stripped the NE QB from the DT position. Can't remember specifics, though...

I'd like to see the cap comparison on old and new deals.

I was never thrilled with his deal, so soon.

He had mixed reviews in BAL and wanted him to play a little more.

In an odd way, having option years may be best for us with him.

What a shit offseason this has been and it's the shortest one that we've had in 13 years!

Sure, but I assume they'll have to move a DE inside more often if Tim J is limited by the back problem. Fortunately they now have two DEs who are good at moving to DT in passing situations.

And they only played inside in passing situations. This is a huge loss.

Huh? Maybe it hasn't been stuffed with glitter and hoopla, but I don't get "shit." Wentz is making good progress, Sproles is back, they seem to have replaced the players they lost in FA and have arguably a better roster than they did last year and ...

THEY JUST WON THE SUPER BOWL!
