Damn!

Oh well.

LBJ did a 4 yr deal.

He's retiring in the smog.

I wouldn't trade for Leonard.

Given we lost Ilyasova and Bellinelli, we need shooters.

My priorities in order:

Shooters
1. JJ Redick SG. Got him at about 13M per. Smart move.
2. T. Evans SG, PG, SF - I still have interest.
3. Caldwell-Pope SG NEVER MIND, HE TOO SIGNED WITH THE LAL.

Versatile Big Men
1. D. Favors PF-C - signed w Utah for two years
2. T. Young PF
3. A. Tolliver PF-C
4. D. Nowitski PF-C - signed w DAL for 1 yr.

Get one from each group and hope that Fultz comes along nicely and come back next FA season and see what's around.

Don't even entertain Leonard, unless he is willing to do a long term deal. I hear SAS want three firsts and two players. If he will go long term, then I think about it. If not, don't waste our time.

The good news is that LBJ is no longer in the East. I'd rather sign someone younger.

I don't like the K Leonard situation this year. I would not trade for him. He seems to want to be in LA. There are questions about his health and attitude.

I think next year is the year for the Sixers to sign someone. Let Simmons and Fultz develop a bit more this year. Also there are other young players on the bench who could use minutes.

The Process includes letting young talent to develop. However I understand that the window to fit a high priced FA under the cap is closing. Next year will be critical.

Who are the big name FAs next year?
