RULES:

1. All entries must be made in this thread by 8:00PM EDT on 7/24. You can EDIT your entry as many times as you want, but not after the deadline. Hoping one of the mods will help a brother out and lock the thread after the deadline.

2. One (1) entry per Winghead ID. Don't be a douche and start creating new IDs to make entries. I'm sure we are all comfortable working in the confines of THE HONOR SYSTEM.

3. No cost to enter but donations are always welcome.

4. Each entry shall list up to 53 names who you predict will make the Eagles 53 man roster (the first one officially announced by the team -- usually in late August).

5. The winning entry will have the most correct names listed.

6. In case of a tie, I will make up some bullcrap tiebreaker.

7. Prize : There will only be one prize -- for first place. Actual prize TBD, but you can be assured it will be something shitty.

8. Employees of the Eagles are allowed to participate, except Dave Spodaro. Spuds is not allowed in.

9. If any additional rules become necessary, I will make them up as we go along.

* In the 2012 draft, the Eagles picked in the 15th spot in the first round, then rotated down a spot through all subsequent rounds until round 6, when their pick was rotated back up to number 13 of that round (their 7th round pick will be number 14 of that round).

- As part of the OT Winston Justice trade, Colts and Eagles swapped 6th round picks so that the Eagles now own pick #161 the second pick in the sixth round and the Colts have the Eagles' original 6th round pick #176 overall.
- Eagles received the Falcons' 7th round pick in exchange for CB Asante Samuel

Vick has some trouble seeing over "the forest" of OL and DL at 6' and is appearing to be tough but somewhat fragile. It's no wonder the FO is stocking up on bigger QBs.

Probably get whacked for this but its possible Edwards shows well after some serious tutoring from Marty, Doug and Andy. Marty had some nice things to say about him and I wouldn't be surprised if he were in strong competition for #2. He hasn't exactly been in the best of situations since he's been in the league and this team does seem to do a pretty good job with QBs.

Thornton is probably eligible for the PS again but Hunt, Tapp and even Landri are going to need to fight for a spot, IMO. If they keep 10 my guess is that Tapp is the odd man out, Hunt apparently has bulked up and will have the benefit of an off season to add to his first year on the roster.

Graham is a former #1 who they moved up for so he'll have benefit of doubt. They liked Landri enough to bring him back and it seems we kept hearing his name last year. It also seems like Washburn likes Dixon.

* He's been impressed with Boykin, said he doesn't seem that much smaller than Sheldon was when he was here. Thinks he could help immediately. Had a nice breakup of a throw to UDFA WR Elvis Akpla.

* Mentioned that the gap in experience between the practice squad guys and the rookies is easily noticeable. For example, OT D.J. Jones (who spent some time on the Ravens PS) looks better than any of the rookie OL in terms of footwork and technique. On the other side, DE Maurice Fountain (another PS guy) was taking apart 5th round pick Dennis Kelly.

* The format is more conducive to DL over OL, since the offensive line has to rely more on technique and that takes more time to learn, and that's how the battles are going so far.

* Spent some time talking about how the NFL pace is a big adjustment for the rookies - especially under the new CBA the coaches only have a limited amount of time to work with guys, so there's a lot more hustling in and out of exercises. Also talked a little about how guys like CB Harris and others are guys whose college career didn't go as hoped, but they're getting a second chance to realize their potential here.
