By using this, we were able to take Foles signing bonus of 3M over 5 yrs, or 600K per year.

When his contract voids after next year's SUper Bowl, we take a hit of 1.8M for the unamortized bonus.

If we took his signing bonus over the 2 "real years" of his deal, we would to have had to take 1.5M of his SB in each year, an extra annual cap charge in these two years of 900K.

I bring this up because the Eagles may need to do some of this fringe cap management technique to keep the folks in green.
