I saw that the Eagles need to get under the cap via cuts or restructures by the start of the new league year. Savings from trades don't happen until after the new league year. It's a technicality but an important one, at least in the short term.

We should hear some things soon.

Are you sure that they have to be under the cap by the beginning of the new league year? I thought it was much later in the Summer.

Cutting Celek and T Smith gets them very close.
