Having your players over-achieve helps you to win a SB but then makes it more likely you won't be able to resign them the following year.

Teams that have lost players in free agency may receive compensatory draft picks. The Eagles have not received such picks in recent years because they signed too many FAs. However this year with the Eagles being maybe $10 mil over the cap, they won't have the $ for a free agent spending spree.

Kempski lists players who could provide the Eagles with comp picks.

This includes TE Burton, CB Robinson, DT Allen, maybe S Graham, D Sproles, K Sturgis, L Blount.

The Comp picks are now tradeable. The mad scientist in the front office will surely look to do some of that. He does not have enough holes to fill in his roster for all of the picks he is likely to have. Packaging some of them for a higher 2019 pick might even be wise.

With the players that we have signed in FA I'm surprised that we don't owe the league picks! Corey Graham is a guy that flies under the radar and I'd hate to lose him.
