A. None
B. One Quarter
C Half
D Three Quarters
E Full Game
I was going to say none, but after tonight I think I play them a quarter.
Anyone?
At least a quarter, I vote for a half.
They need to play at least a half. The offense needs to get more work with Foles (obviously) to generate some chemistry and to get into a groove.
After last night's fiasco on offense, the starters need at least a half and even the third quarter if they're still struggling.
I'd play the defence for the first half as well - it's Dallas we're playing and I don't want to lose to them under any circumstances.
Worth remembering as well that we have the bye week to shake off any niggles, so it's worth the risk of an injury to give us some momentum.
This is not the preseason where you have plenty of subs. Most will have to play.
I assume all of they guys who have been inactive most of the year will be active instead of a few vets who are nicked up.
Foles should play one quarter. Available backups should rotate frequently to minimize snaps of vets.
I would treat this like a must win game. At least for the offense.
This offense, with Nick Foles as QB, is not ready for the playoffs. They need all of the reps they can get. I know there is an injury risk but I think getting the game reps in outweighs the risk.
I would let the defense go for a half. Maybe take the linebackers out earlier since there is little depth there. There is a lot of depth on the DL and the secondary so I am not as concerned there.
Our QB and WR's need to get on the same page. Give them a half.
That's my opinion - I would wager Pederson won't leave them out there past the 1st quarter, maybe less.
I'd take the game seriously, but would rest those with nagging injuries. 4 quarters.
