Eagles Forum _ Philadelphia Eagles or Football Related Discussion _ Damn! Wiz out. Twiddle Dee and Twiddle Dumb In

This is not good.

A four point difference IMO.

Roll right St. Nick, roll right!

Run the ball to the right.

Screen to the left as those guys will be over aggressive and in the backfield anyway.

If I'm the Giants, I play 8 in the box all day and blitz often. I try to take away the run and make the Eagles prove twiddle dee and dumb can block and make us prove that our passing game is in sinc without much time with Foles.

If I'm the Eagles, I do as above but I depend on Ertz and Agholar in the middle of the field and screen games with Ajayi and Clement. And on defense, expect quick passes from Sheli and no huddle, but this time, I play the DBs up tighter since we have gotten better. Expect a pick six from a DB. Expect Eli to play scared as normal.

We need STs to be a plus today. Barner and our ST D line needs to be big.

It will be ugly, but a tough win:

Eagles 23
Giants 19

Close guess - I assume this was for the 1st half?

I watched LG pretty closely and think that Warmack played reasonably well. I was very surprised.

Anyone else agree/have a different opinion?

I agree.

It was a pleasant surprise.

Only one sack, and they ran the ball well to the left side.

It was interesting how often we ran left. I can see when Peters was there with Wiz. But to see them run well with the two backups was good to see. I wonder why we don't run well to the right with LJ and Brooks.

Warmack is supposed to be a good run blocker. Also running the ball against the Defense tires them out and slows down their pass rush. Maybe that's why they did it, JMHO.

That's my understanding, Warmack is a powerful run blocker. I think the Giant's DT on that side is more of a big, powerful guy rather than quick. So maybe Warmack matched up better.

Well, I'll give Pedey this.

Running the ball at the over aggressive side of the DL to slow down the rush is a concept Big Red never comprehended.

Kudos to him.
