Great guy and one of the best pitchers for us ever, even though only a few seasons.

Prayers go out to his family.

A great pitcher and so many stories of what a great guy he was.

40 years too young.

I remember Red Doctober as if it was yesterday.

So, apparently, he was flying and testing his limits according to some video people took of him before he crashed. They said he was flying that way the day before as well. He would fly hard towards the water and pull up just feet from the Gulf.

And to think, his wife said she was against him getting a pilot's license (he wanted one before but couldn't because MLB contracts won't allow it).
