Not sure if it was mentioned, but Spadaro tweeted out that the experiment is over. Wiz won. DRockā€™s choice for #4 pick in the 2013 draft has officially been relegated to backup guard duty.

Good riddance.

About time!

If Seamalo is worse than Warmack, then we need to get TWO new guards next year.

Seumalo was probably drafted to be the future OC. He'll likely get bigger and stronger and learn the offense well. This year he got some experience watching a Vet OC make line calls. That experience will be good for the Birds' long-term, and it did not cost them any Ws

Seumalo's dad is a college D Line coach. He is not going to be a bust.

Warmack can't complain. He was given a fair opportunity, Now he gets to work on his game for the future and learn from a pair of veteran OGs and his college O Line-coach. He may develop into a stud. He may just be a guy like N. Agholor who takes longer than expected.

I thought this was coming. After last week's game Pedey said they were going to continue with the rotation, this week he said they would 'evaluate' it. On that note, I like how they adjust things on this team. I know everyone noticed how they were kicking to the goal line instead out of the endzone this week, that was on purpose. The ST guys went to the coaches and asked them to let Elliot kick short because they wanted to go 'hunting' and look what happened, I don't think they ever reached the 25. When players get to be involved in game planning and play choices, they feel more invested and I think play harder.

That's cool. It does show the team to be in a harmonious state. That sort of thing is probably not often appreciated grim the outside looking in, but in team sports it is crucial.
